Combe Barn is a luxuriously converted stone barn in an area of outstanding natural beauty on the Isle of Wight. It comfortably sleeps eight people plus two infants in cots in two double and two twin bedrooms. This is a beautiful and tasteful conversion from an old dairy barn and features original oak beams and stone-tiled floors. Whilst being decorated and finished to the highest five-star standards, we are fully equipped to welcome families with young children as well as groups of adults who want a relaxing break. A large adjoining games room will keep all ages occupied during your stay.

 Combe Barn is situated on Newbarn Farm which is a modern working farm with beef cattle, sheep and arable crops grown. There are pigs and chickens to feed in the yards and guests are welcome to observe other farming activities such as lambing in April and harvesting in the summer.

 The cottage can be found just half a mile from the picturesque old village of Shorwell in a beautiful secluded valley surrounded by download pasture where sheep and cattle graze. A ten minute stroll will take you to the renowned "Crown Inn" for a family meal or you can fetch your morning paper from the village shop.  A short car or bus journey will take you to the busy market town of Newport or the beautiful south coast beaches with their safe swimming, sand and surf. Walkers and cyclists will find themselves spoilt for choice with a huge network of footpaths surrounding the property.

Allergy sufferers will appreciate our chemical-free approach to cleaning (www.enjo.co.uk) and our 'No Pets' policy. We also like to recycle as much as possible and have a large wormery for kitchen waste, and a reed bed for waste water.
